i miss when id perceive everything as art. like when a mere glimpse towards your gemstone forest eyes carried me away into the world beneath them. should i paint what i see? write how i feel? sing what i hear? how about even when a mundane night time task wisks me away into a state of eventide trance.. the hauting howl in the wind, the delicate fresh breeze caressing my aching skin. my eyes fixed unwavering at the transcendant gold moon peaking through the smokey haze of clouds in a vast royal navy sky. i wish i could capture every moment that caught my eye made me cry or made my eyes smile wide & turn it into art. i miss when

there is something so peaceful yet unsettling that sirs inside me when peering out at the end of the night. what first catches my eye is the black silhouettes of the trees, so intricate and haunting, then beyond that, the pale gray sky with the subtle hint of light rising. its faint hue somehow feeds my soul with hope. it whispers to it, "a brand new day is nearly here" ah but then...the grief of my empty life rushes back in and reminds me ive been doing this for years. its sadly just a moment of false security..and im left here alone once again. my dreams dying with the night and burning away into the sun.
